The Artist...
TJ has always thought outside the box. Being able to
capture different emotions and worldly observations are
goals for his creations. TJ likes his pieces to represent
his current thoughts and let them tell an unknown but
familiar story all in one. He is from northern Michigan and
has a great appreciation for the outdoors; this is shown in
his work. Growing up in this beautiful area, the artist has
had numerous experiences with camping, fishing, hard
work, and the country lifestyle.
The artist comes from a family of skilled tradesmen. His
grandpa and his father are proficient builders and
woodworkers. Proud to have inherited their genes, TJ
learned most of his skills from experiences with these two
influential men.

TJ is currently employed with Ludington Area Schools as the High School Industrial Arts
instructor. At LHS, TJ teaches Woodworking and Metalworking. These courses give
students a chance to work with their hands, learn career and employability skills, and give
them an opportunity to explore their options as a tradesman.

Inspiration...
Things that inspire TJ with his work are: being able to work in different
working environments, having to problem solve by thinking outside the
box, using his own two hands to build a project, being able to take on
several jobs and be true to the natural beauty of each project. Bringing
concepts/ideas from his mind into reality give him a lot of his drive. The
artist creates these creations hoping people; like you, who love having a
comfortable home and love unique creations will have interest in his
work. He hopes you will find his work inspiring and welcome it into your
